Soccer season is here and to celebrate I have uploaded our stubby catalogue.

My favourite would be the sublimation stubby (full colour printed). You can check it out at http://www.cdi-range.com.au/CDI-N03.htm. The possibilities are unlimited with this one - you can put photos of your pet, or your football team or your family! And in some cases it works out cheaper then a one colour stubby print; so why wouldn't you...

Enjoy!

Newcastle Herald readers in Cardiff and certain parts of the North Coast will have seen Zulu Graphics owners, Mark and Diana Millgate, along with their young children, Julian and Lexie, on the front page of today's edition as they participated in Earth Hour on Saturday night.

To view the full front page, please go to http://www.zulugraphics.com.au/newspaper_310308.pdf

Other readers will see a photo of a car on the front page, with the Millgates in the top right hand corner and a story on page 3.

Here's to Earth Hour 08!

Last night, between 8pm and 9pm (well, we stretched it to midnight!), our lights were off at Zulu Graphics. In fact, we made sure all of our electronics were switched off. We had no lights, no computers, no air compressors and no dryers.

Not only does it feel great to be getting alongside other companies and individuals to help change our planet for the better, but it is good to get behind an Australian creation and help it reach a global scale.

Here's hoping someone in power will act upon this mass example.

Firstly, let me say thank you!

The initial response to our newsletter was heart warming.

When you try something new, there is always the risk that you might fail… but I am pleased to report that (after some minor problems) Set In Print is now officially set in print!

So, onto the topic of the moment - what inspired the website renovations?

While the old website served its time dutifully (and I loved it to pieces), the new site is more modern, more informative and complies with the W3C standards. You might be thinking what is W3C? And what are its standards?

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) develops interoperable technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full potential”W3C Website

Basically, W3C is an international organisation started by Tim Berners-Lee (who also happened to invent the World Wide Web!) where people contribute ideas and design rules to make the web more user-friendly.

You don’t have to comply with their standards, but at Zulu Graphics, we have decided to.

Why? It allows you, as our customer, to access information about us easily and accurately – and we like to give you what you want.

So, I am pleased to say that we are officially W3C Validated!

Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional Valid CSS!

This means that, theoretically, you should see the same website I intended you to see – even if you view our site on your laptop, your home pc, your mobile phone – it should appear the same. (Test it out! Let me know the results.)

As a nerd, I am completely excited about this.

Even though it took time, to redesign, recode and reload our website, I believe it has been worth it; not only are we adhering to our desire to stay current with the progressions in technology, but we are creating a website that you will want to visit regularly so that you know exactly what is happening at Zulu Graphics.

Also, you might notice that our blog interface has changed : ) Now you can write comments in response to the blog or offer your own opinions on what we say.
