A few answers from Zulu Graphics owner, Diana Millgate.

How long have you worked in the screen printing industry? 22 years.

Have you always worked at Zulu Graphics? No. I finished art school and was offered a job at Mambo. I applied for a screen printing job but was offered a job in the art department because of my art background.

When you first started in the screen printing industry, did you encounter barriers because you are woman? Even though screen printing was male dominated industry, I didn't encounter any barriers as a woman... but maybe youth was against me because it was harder to gain the customer's trust. I saw being a woman in a male dominated industry as a bonus.

What trends are you seeing develop in the screen printing industry? Technology has made the process a lot quicker and easier - jobs are now more accurate and effects are easier to achieve because of it.

What is your favourite Pantone? PMS 1915
